Early Check-In
Beat the Saturday rush and get your credentials early! This is where you’ll pick up your totes, lanyards, and pre-ordered t-shirts. Arriving Friday gives you a relaxed start and lets you enjoy Saturday’s main event without worrying about check-in lines.

Pro Tip: If you’re coming from out of town, Friday check-in means you can sleep in a bit Friday and still catch VIP/GA entry times!

VIP Guests get an exclusive sneak peek at what makes these models tick! Join a few of the models for a special panel discussion about their work in the romance book industry, what it’s like being a book cover model, and behind-the-scenes stories you won’t hear anywhere else.

VIP ticket holders, this is your time to gather! Line up inside the Pavilion Concourse area. Doors open at 10:00 AM for VIP early entry, giving you a full 2 hours before general admission begins.

General Admission Entry - IT'S YOUR TIME!
General Admission doors are officially OPEN! You have six incredible hours to meet authors, connect with models, shop vendors, and soak in all the bookish energy.
What’s Happening: ✓ Author signings (check individual author schedules) ✓ Model photo opportunities ✓ Vendor shopping (tons of bookish vendors!) ✓ Raffles throughout the day ✓ Photo op stations and backdrops ✓ Food and refreshments available
Remember:
- Small carts only (18″ x 18″ max)
- No wagons or strollers
- Free water and sodas provided
- Respect all attendees, authors, and models
- Have FUN!
Pro Tip: Some authors may have book limits if lines are long. Don’t worry, everyone will get their chance!
Daytime Event Concludes
The signing event officially wraps at 6:00 PM. Time to head back to your hotel, freshen up, and prepare for the evening’s main event: the Fantasy Ball!

The event you’ve been waiting for! Think of the most magical, romantic, bookish celebration you can imagine, then imagine a fantasy wedding reception on steroids. The Fantasy Ball is where book dreams meet real-life enchantment.
The Atmosphere: Cherry blossom trees creating an enchanted forest – Twinkling fairy lights everywhere – Stunning book wall backdrops for photos – DJ spinning all night long – Professional photo booths with props – Elegant chaise lounge seating areas – Candelabras and romantic uplighting – Gorgeous drapery creating intimate spaces – Plush green carpets

Dress Code: Come dressed as your favorite book character, in formal attire, or however makes you feel magical! This is YOUR fantasy ball.

Event FAQs
What items are banned?
None of the following will be permitted: whips, leashes, collars, or sex toys of any kind!
How can I interact with the models and authors?
Recognize and respect the personal boundaries of others. Before hugging, touching, taking photographs, or engaging in other physical contact with an Author, Narrator, Vendor, model, or fellow attendees, ask them if it is okay.
Is there a sexual harassment policy?
Unwanted sexual advances of any kind are strictly forbidden. This includes but is not limited to touching, groping, stalking, making lewd comments, and aggressive sexual behavior. This event has a zero-tolerance policy for sexual harassment. Any instance of this will result in removal from the event and a ban from any future events.
What are the rules for lines?
There will be no pushing, shoving, verbal harassment, or aggressive behavior tolerated in our lines. This includes fighting, swearing at other attendees, volunteers, coordinators, or team members, and physical contact of any kind. Be courteous of other attendees. Any instance of this will result in removal from the event and a ban from any future events.
Will cash be accepted?
Yes! We’ll be accepting cash at the front for event merch and bookstore purchases.
Just a heads-up: individual authors may not be able to take cash at their tables, so bring a card or tap-to-pay option just in case.
Can I bring my kids?
While children are not prohibited from attending, please be aware that the event contains adult themes that are not appropriate for children. There will be inappropriate art and pictures set out, along with Halloween and ghost face masks, that the models will be taking pictures with. Kids will require tickets as well.
What hotels are nearby?
There are many hotels on the interstate hear the Midland County Horseshoe Arena.
Is tap-to-pay available?
Yes! We’ll have tap-to-pay available at the front for Love Affair books and merch. Some authors may accept it too, but bring a backup form of payment just in case.
Can I bring my own books to get signed?
Absolutely! Bring your favorites to get signed. There’s no official book limit at this time, but it may change depending on author preferences and the number of attendees.
Can I bring a cart or tote?
Yes, 18" x 18" small carts and totes are welcome! Please leave wagons and strollers at home as they won’t be allowed inside.
A Clear Bag Policy will be enforced for the Fantasy Ball.
What merch will be available to purchase?
We’ll have event T-shirts, stickers, bags, lanyards, and more. Some authors may also bring their own merch or special editions to the party—so bring some extra room in that tote (or cart).
Will there be beverages available?
Yes! Complimentary water bottles will be provided inside. Plus, TeaNergy/Tea2Go will have their trailer parked out front, so you can grab your favorite pick-me-up while fangirling.
Is there a clear bag policy?
The fantasy ball will have a clear bag policy to ensure the safety of ALL the attendees.
